Belkin N1 Wireless USB Adapter - Draft 802.11n and 802.11b/g
The N1 Wireless USB Adapter from Belkin is a USB device that adds draft 802.11n and 802.11g wireless networking capabilities to your computer. When used with other draft 802.11n equipment the card can transfer data at speeds up to 300 Mbps. It is also fully backwards compatible with older 54 Mbps 802.11g and 11 Mbps 802.11b hardware. This adapter is a convenient way to add wireless networking capability to your PC.
- Wireless Convenience
- Adding a wireless device to your computer allows for an easier network setup in your home or office. When used in conjunction with a wireless router you can share a broadband Internet connection wirelessly among the computers in your household. You'll even be able to stream media from your computer to your television by adding a wireless media center to your home theater.
- Draft 802.11n Speed
- The draft 802.11n protocol allows for speeds of up to 300 Mbps. This is 5 times as fast as the previous 802.11g protocol. The device is also fully compatible with 802.11g and 802.11b devices at slower speeds.

- The device installs in an available USB port and includes drivers for Windows 2000 and Windows XP. This makes it a simple device to add to your computer.

when connecting to my network, only works if you place theadaptor next to the router. Not exactly wireless. Afterhours of support from belkin still not working. So if youhave a router connected to a PC Running windows Vista andyou want to connect the usb adaptor to a pc running XP keepwell away. Until belkin fix the problems. I am packing it upand returning it to the shop had enough. Although not anexpert i know my way around a pc and after hours of supporti know it even more. What a waste of time and money.
Problems Encountered: will not connect to router at all although my old usbadaptor works fine.
