With connectivity to multiple A/V components and playback capabilities of a variety of video and audio formats, the Sherwood VD-4602 answers the call with versatility and reliability.

• High Definition Multimedia Interface (HDMI): The VD-4602 features an HDMI output, capable of reproducing and upconverting video signals to 720 and 1080i. This technology enables the VD-4602 to carry the HD audio and video information through a single cable and achieving the highest quality picture and clearest sound available.

• Progressive Scan Capability: The VD-4602 is a progressive scan DVD player, capable of scanning an entire video frame at once; scan-lines commonly associated with interlaced video are drastically reduced. The result is a spectacularly clear image with no motion artifacts (stair-stepping), and details so sharp they seem as if they're etched onto the screen.

• High-End Video Processing: The VD-4602 features an ESS Vibratto DVD decoder to reproduce video with exquisite detail.

• Dolby Digital and DTS Processing: The VD-4602 has built-in processors to handle the multi-channel decoders for Dolby Digital and DTS digital audio processing, capable of advanced 24-bit processing and an outstanding sampling frequency of 192 kHz.

• DivX Home Theater Certified: DivX is video compression software which enables high quality video to be compressed into very small files then downloaded onto CD-R or CD-RW and played back with very little loss of quality.

• Multi-Format Player: Don't worry about limited playback capabilities, the VD-4602 can play DVD Video, DVD-Audio, DVD-R/W, DVD+R/W, CD, CD-RW, WMA, WMV, MP3, DviX, and JPEG image files.
