The Pixtreme PX2 digital camera is really a kit that includes a 3.1 mega-pixel digital camera and a underwater housing. With this kit you can take photographs as you explore the ocean world both above and below the surface. This easy to use camera is good to depths of up to 125' (38 m). Of course it is also ideal for taking worry-free pictures in the rain, at the beach, or on the ski slopes.
The camera flash can be used to take underwater photos, but an external strobe is recommended to improve color and reducing the illumination of particles suspended in the water. The Pixtreme Flash Set is the perfect flash to use with this camera. Another alternative is to shoot available light with the color correction filter included in the Pixtreme Lens Kit. The camera housing allows access to all camera functions.
