The VX7 from CME-Pro is a comprehensive MIDI keyboard controller with 76 velocity sensitive keys and global aftertouch. In addition to being a MIDI controller, the keyboard also functions as a two input, two output, USB audio interface. Preprogrammed MIDI songs and accompaniments in different styles, including loop variation and chord changes, can be downloaded and imported into the keyboard, and then triggered using dedicated "pads".
The VX7 supplies sixty-four controllers, including motorized faders, an encoder for data entry, knobs, trigger pads, ribbon controller, buttons, pitch bend and modulation wheels, DAW transport controls, pedal inputs and breath controller input. All controllers are user assignable. The keyboard can be split into up into four zones, and can also be programmed to output over forty alternate and non-western scales. The USB connection allows for future updates and enhancements to be downloaded directly to the keyboard. The unit supports most professional audio/MIDI applications.

Comments about CME-Pro VX7 - 76-Key MIDI Keyboard Controller with Aftertouch and Motorized Faders:
I give it a 5 star even though I'm just getting into the keyboard because there has been nothing to make me think it should be less.
First, the keyboard is very well built. Aluminum chassis, knobs and sliders have a good solid feel. A couple of key weights were loose but I re-bonded them with some "goop" adhesive.
It needed updating to the newest firmware which was a bit of a hassle owing to the fact you -HAVE- to use a windows XP machine. The latest 2.0 has a couple of small bugs, but a patch is promised.
One feature I have yet to explore more fully is the U-Ctrl feature where you can control your DAW software from the keyboard. If it works as advertised, this will be a very useful feature for me.
As a midi controller, it works great with my Moog Voyager, Kawai K1-II, and an Encore Expressionist Midi-2-CV convertor (used with my modular)
I can recommend this keyboard with one caveat, make sure you have access to an XP computer to install updates.
