International orders*The Hensel Porty Premium Plus 1200 Watt/Second Battery Strobe Kit with asymmetrical power distribution is the location photographer's main choice for a high-powered, weather-resistant field strobe. This model includes a built-in Radio Slave Receiver, allowing wireless triggering, and power level control of the flash from the included four channel transmitter.
The EH Mini P1200 flash head is smaller and lighter than the previous Porty head. Batteries may be exchanged within seconds with the side-mounted battery drawer with quick release and handle for easy pull out. There is also an AC adapter which slides in and can be removed simply and quickly.
Power output for each head is adjustable over a 6 f/stop range in 0.1 f/stop increments, easily changeable by simply tapping or holding down the arrow buttons on the power pack panel or by using the radio transmitter.
Batteries can be recharged with the multi-voltage quick charger within 2 hours. One full battery charge is good for up to 250 flashes at full power.

Comments about Hensel Porty Premium Plus 1200 Watt/Second AS Battery Radio Slave Strobe Kit:
I've had this kit for about 8 months now. The three big weakneses: The 7 inch reflectors are soft metal and bend in the case pretty easy. The light stands could be a lot sturdier. Lastly, the kit bag handle can easily break off if you try and roll this bag up or down stairs rather than lifting it. Now I'm stuck with a bag that is really pretty heavy for a quite in shape guy to lift. The bag only has a 90 day warranty, pretty cheesy. Otherwise, the bag is well constructed, just wish it had more handles. The heads are rock solid, great stuff, as is the pack and battery capacity. You will want a 2nd head, get it now. I find the softbox fine.
Overall, no regrets, may have to spring for new bag.
I use it on location as main system and in studio as additional lighting to primary studio system.

Comments about Hensel Porty Premium Plus 1200 Watt/Second AS Battery Radio Slave Strobe Kit:
IMO, the premier portable pack at a great price to value ratio.
Everything about this kit is engineered and built as if it were going to a war zone instead of an outdoor location shoot. It's easy to see why this is a preferred rental unit.
The radio control right from the camera allows you to adjust each head independently. The Hensel light modifier mount is quite secure unlike some other heads I've used in the past.
I use it for commercial photography so I don't have to restrict where I shoot ... like environmental portrait work or
or advertising assignments. Pick your spot without worrying where the AC outlets are.
Additional items I'd recommend looking at are the carbon fiber Hensel Ringlight with built in handle, and getting a second battery if you tend to do extended shooting on location. Also, Plume softboxes (carried by B&H) provide top notch control, and are available with Hensel speed rings.
The only warning I'd provide is that this is no lightweight kit, and the included roller bag was a good idea. It's the price you pay for this tank like build quality.

Comments about Hensel Porty Premium Plus 1200 Watt/Second AS Battery Radio Slave Strobe Kit:
This kit has eliminated my endless search for power, has opened many doors for my business, and has given me the creative freedom to do WHAT I want WHERE I want. I actually liked the kit so much that I purchased a second kit only a few months later.
Prior to purchasing my first kit, I spent a great deal of time comparing specs between Hensel and some other popular manufacturers. I ultimately chose Hensel because of the value that I received for my money. I believe that Hensel offers excellent value at a very reasonable price.
I also liked the fact that Hensel has a lot of optional accessories that can be added, and I've been happy with all of those purchases as well.
The one thing that you will want with this kit is a second head, so you might as well go ahead and add it to your shopping cart right now. The one generator is totally capable of handling two heads. The power distribution can be manipulated multiple ways for various lighting ratios. I personally purchased a second head with each of my kits and wouldn't have done it any other way.
BTW, the kit comes with a great wireless transmitter that will fire your strobes and also increase or decrease the power level. It's very nice to be able to do that in a split second without having to physically go to the generator to make adjustments.
The only thing that I don't like about the kit is the soft box. It's not nearly as easy to work with as a Chimera or Photoflex box. I would have much preferred either one of those because of their ease of use and optional accessories, however, the Hensel box is better than no box at all.

Comments about Hensel Porty Premium Plus 1200 Watt/Second AS Battery Radio Slave Strobe Kit:
Excellent light to work with digital photography. I have always wanted a light system portable enough to bring with me, and not worry about underexposure, which I have struggled with in previous rentals. However, accessories are hard to find, fairly new to the united states, but if you want quality portable & studio like lighting, I would recommend this system highly
