The Casio Exilim Hi-Zoom EX-V7 Digital Camera features a 7.2 megapixel resolution, a 2.5" Super Bright LCD, and easy to use shooting modes, but it's mosty impressive feature is the incredible 7x optical zoom lens contained within an ultra-slim camera body. Furthermore, the camera utilizes the latest movie format (MPEG-4 H.264/AVC recording), which provides recording and playback of high-resolution video at remarkably small file sizes. The camera is powered by the latest Exilim Engine 2.0 and provides high resolution, high performance, high speed, impressive power saving, and incorporates four distinct anti-blur technologies - all in an ultra-compact configuration.

• 7.2 Megapixel Resolution: The 7.2 megapixel high resolution CCD EX-V7 delivers excellent quality with full color brilliance and sharpness - even poster-size printouts in excellent quality are possible.

• 7x Optical Zoom Lens: The EX-V7 incorporates a cutting-edge, non-protruding 7x optical zoom lens that also offers a 10x-equivalent zoom without loss of picture quality (in 3.0-megapixel mode). And all of this zoom capability is contained in a camera that is less than 1" thick.

• Ultra Flat Stainless Steel Housing: The EX-V7 is only about as big as a credit card, as thick as your little finger - and doesn't weigh much more than a bar of chocolate. The high quality stainless steel casing of the EX-V7 is machined to precise tolerances - resulting in a beautiful camera that is also very durable.

• Four Blur Reduction Technologies with CCD Shift System: The CCD shift system mechanically compensates for camera shake by moving the actual image sensor in an oppositional manner to the camera movement. The Anti Shake DSP reduces blur due to shaky hands and subject movement, by using high shutter speeds or high sensitivity settings. Finally, the Film Stabilization function eliminates blur when shooting in movie mode.

• Exilim Engine 2.0 Image Processor: The latest Exilim Engine provides advanced functions and greater power efficiency to the Exilin EX-V7 Digital Camera. The Auto Tracking AF function follows moving subjects, keeping them continuously in focus until the photo is taken, and Tonal Control lets users keep bright areas of the scene bright by limiting the occurrence of dark pixels. The Exilim engine also offers ability to selectively eliminate noise in designated color regions, such as the sky, and boasts faster image processing functions that enable instantaneous color correction or angle adjustment.

• High-quality Movies Using Next-generation H.264 Video Encoding: The EX-V7 records movies using H.264 video encoding, and makes beautiful movies at high compression ratios to save storage space. This encoding method records about 1.5 times longer with the same memory capacity and same picture quality as conventional MPEG-4. Furthermore, silent lens motion enables optical zooming while recording movies in stereo sound, and the camera records 16:9 wide-aspect movies compatible with wide-screen TVs.

• Large 2.5" Super Bright LCD Display: The 2.5" LCD display helps capture and view more of your subjects so you don't miss a moment. The display gives you a clear view with high-resolution sharpness and brilliance, and the brighter screen allow you to view your movies and photos in a whole new light with enhanced color and clarity. For easy outdoor viewing the super bright LCD (1200cd/m2) can be adjusted automatically or using a manual setting.

• Intuitive Display Layout: The EX-V7 LCD panel now aligns all the information icons on the right hand side to easily view your display and to easily change modes or to see your shooting data quickly for reference.

• Best Shot Mode: Simply follow the guidance that appears on the monitor screen to select the BEST SHOT scene that resembles the type of image you want to record, and the required camera settings are configured automatically. You can even save your own BEST SHOT Mode setups for instant recall whenever you need them.

• Built-in and Expandable Memory: The EX-V7 has 11.5MB of internal memory so you can start shooting immediately. The storage capacity an also be greatly expanded with either Secure Digital (SD), Secure Digital High Capacity (SDHC) or MultiMediaCard (MMC) media so you can save large numbers of photos and record movies in excess of an hour or more in duration.

• Super Battery Life: Despite its slim design and large monitor screen, the EX-V7 delivers truly amazing battery life for a compact digital camera. A single charge provides enough power to record approximately 240 snapshots.
