This bracket is a must have for photographers that work weddings or events. It is very easy to use and helps with stability and control of each shot. I added the camera quick release to mine so that when I want to take the camera off the bracket or tripod that I use then it takes only a few seconds to do that.

I always seem to have a problem with the harsh background flash bouncing the flash. I do wedding photography and in most chases I have to be fast in taking some shots, I don't have time to think how the flash should be bounced and in most situations I am walking backwards to capture the event.

Finally I decided to spend up and buy this Digital ProM kit. I used it last week for a wedding. It was so relaxing working with this gadget as only had to think about composition and capturing the emotions. I only had to flip the camera.

It's a bit costly but it is durable so it should last me a life time. The only thing against it is that now I am carrying more weight in my hands but I rather that then the harsh shadows. Extremely happy with this product.

As a professional sports photographer, I have used several types of flash brackets. I was very happy with a telephoto bracket I had purchased, but this simply did not work for portrait lenses. Particularly for sports, but surely for most other events, the problem is flipping the camera quickly and having it remain stable, in an instant, while the flash remains in location. I read all the reviews on every bracket. The majority of these reviews show how, although expensive, this bracket is worth every penny. I HEARTILY AGREE!!! If you are a professional, or if you are tired of flip brackets for whatever reason, invest in this bracket. You will be gald you did! (And the built in stabilizer for putting this on the ground is FANTASTIC!) No, it won't fold up and fit in your bag. But if you are shooting a lot of flash photography and constantly flipping between portait and landscape, you will not be sorry.

I was worried when I purchased this product that it was going to be too big and cumbersome to use for all day weddings but it really surprised me. It is a quality piece of craftsmanship and a joy to use. You might think it is overpriced until the box shows up at your door and you actually get it in your hands. I purchased it strictly for weddings but it will probably be used whenever I am using my canon 580 flash.

Solid like a rock, well-built, do as what is in the specification. Some metal corners is a bit square, prefer a more smooth and round finish. The whole rig weight about 3 kg (flash, cable,camera,lens), you need big arms to carry it around. But the good thing is that since you are using both arms to carry it. The load is distribute among two arms, so may feel less tried after the event.

...so if you pay cheap you get cheap and if you pay professional level gear, you get professional level gear. It's as simple as that!

I choose this model of ability to rotate from landscape to portrait, which works like a champ. It is as sturdy as ANY accessory you will ever buy for your camera..

I wish the arm would also flip to the right or on opposite side of camera to get flash both up and to the side. They have models that do that but don't have other features, so its a trade-off.

The instructions could be less confusing but doesn't take much to figure out. I did order the wrong plate for attaching to my type of tri-pod, so be careful there.

first bracket i owned and no need to ever change. well built and effective. after talking to lots of people and hearing stories of how they changed bracket after bracket i decided to go with this one. cant go wrong. expensive when thinking its just a bracket and the money can go to something that has actual electronics in it. need the quick release that cost an additional $50. the way the camera mounts it isnt very practical to take off without the quick release.

I use a Canon 5D Mk II with a battery grip and Canon 580 EX II flash. Add my Canon 70-200mm lens and there is alot of weight to support. This bracket is solid. The designers' attention to details such as the palm grip,locking positons for the camera, tripod quick release and others makes shooting almost effortless. Having the flash in the vertical postion aids in bounce flash as well.
I had used a flash flip type of bracket before. This bracket is a bit pricey buy once you use it you will never settle for less.

Links D3S with Nikon SB900 flash unit. Makes changing from Landscape to portrait aspect with camera and flash very easy whilst still maintaining the flash above the camera. The unit is light, portable and the foldaway legs makes it easy to put the whole assembly on the floor / table when not actively taking pictures.I saw the bracket for the first time at a wedding in Tampa. Only disadvantage for me: it was not available in Australia BUT fortunately B&H to the rescue [...]Now, I just have to keep it away from my daughter!!Price good, quality excellent, service superb.PLEASE open a branch in Rockhampton!!

Does everyting as advertised. Quality construction, very functional. Only dissappointment is it is very difficult to operate zoom due to limited space. Guess you can't have everything. I would reccommend this product but be aware everything has a trade off.

Called the good people at B and H for advice on a solid, rotating flash bracket and they recommended this one...Great advice, Great bracket. Got the day before a big shoot and its simplicity allowed me to "go to work" immediately. There was nothing disappointing about this bracket. It's not cheap, to be sure. This is a pro grade piece of equipment that's tough as nails and won't let you down. Thanks B and H, for the sound advice and a great product.

The bracket was recommended to me by a professional wedding photographer. The heavy construction and ball bearing design are top notch. Rotating the camera between landscape and protrait positions is smooth and solid. The bracket feet are great when setting the camera down versus laying it flat. The grip is comfortable and the balance is good when assembled with the camera and flash.

A little on the expensive side, but you definately get what you pay for.
