Custom Brackets CMP Universal Camera Mounting Plate
The Custom Brackets CMP Universal Camera Mounting Plate is a reversible camera plate that works with all cameras, with or without a vertical grip. The camera screw is also adjustable to match cameras of different depths.
Note! When using this camera plate with a camera with a vertical grip on a QRS-35-EV or QRS-35-H bracket, bracket may not stand correctly.

The item is great, it's just i can't believe that i had to pay separate for it. I get my bracket and then find out i can't use it until i order the cmp. The weird thing is that they give you the screws to mount the cmp but you have to buy the cmp separate. Other than that it works great.

This CMP bracket is only one part in a whole bracket system. I love the entire Custom Brackets Digital Pro M. I just shot my first event using it, and I love the results! See here at B&H the bracket system. If you are an event photographer this product is a must. Reason for using this bracket, reducing red-eye, able to rotate from vertical to horizontal framing with out moving the flash position. I LOVE IT!

I use this product on a camera bracket. With the
bracket I use, the flash is positioned well above the lens. This mounting plate holds the camera very
securely. You can switch from horizontal to vertical
very quickly. It was recommended by a friend. I'm very glad I bought it. It does what I need it to do.

I have had and use a Custom Bracket for a couple of years now and everything about them are first rate. I bought another camera and needed another camera plate. The new design is really nice as it is NOT camera specific but works with any number of cameras and functions exactly as advertised.

I use for mounting Nikon D2x and D200 cameras to
Custom Bracket. Reversible for extended battery packs. Much better alignment of camera
to bracket than older models. I like the phillips
screw stabilization, but don't forget to bring a
screwdriver. Nikon D200 with extended battery has to be removed to change batteries. This is an inconvenience if you need a change in the middle of a hectic job.
