Comments about Canon Tripod Mount Ring A II for 70-200mm f/4L:
Well made tripod collar. I'm using it on the Canon 200mm F/2.8 MK2 lens. Very easy to adjust... keeps the lens attached well to the monopod. It's not cheap but it is worth the money IMO. The construction is solid as well.

I use these with my 70-200mm f4L lense as well as
other telephoto lenses. It improves the balance when the camera is placed on a tripod.

Comments about Canon Tripod Mount Ring A II for 70-200mm f/4L:
Excellent design and solid, precision, construction. There may be cheaper substitutes out there, but do you want to trust an expensive lens to a cheap knock-off product? I don't.
Canon (and B&H) need to update their cross-references to show this perfectly fits several lenses, including the 200/f2.8L.
With a Wimberly plate and Quick coupler, I can now use this lens with my Bushhawk, as well as perfectly balanced on a tripod with extension tubes or TE.
