Office Ultimate 2007 Upgrade for Windows from Microsoft includes the popular Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook with Business Contact Manager, Word, Access, InfoPath, Groove, OneNote, Publisher and Accounting Express applications for Windows. This software is an upgrade that allows owners of Office 2000 and above to upgrade at a reduced price when compared to buying the full version of the software.

This integrated office suite gives you all the software tools necessary to perform the tasks necessary to run your small business: bookkeeping, desktop publishing, spreadsheets, slide-based presentations, e-mail and word processing. The suite includes the tools to allow you to create high-quality documents with a results-oriented user interface, work with secure documents and organize your schedule. It features an online help system that works to answer questions quickly and concisely. This software is full of great tools for your business.

• Upgrade Qualification: This upgrade requires a valid license for one of the following Microsoft products to function: Microsoft Works 6.0-10; Microsoft Works suite 2000-2006 or later; any 2000-2007 Microsoft Office program or suite; any Microsoft Office XP suite.

• Word 2007: Word is the industry-standard word processing application. It features tools to produce professional content using document styles and themes, an equation builder, word count and spell check. Document formatting can be done quickly, allowing you to concentrate on content. Word also features tools to securely share sensitive documents among coworkers and colleagues.

• Excel 2007: Excel is the premiere spreadsheet application for Windows. The software gives you powerful tools that you can use to create and format spreadsheets and analyze and share data with colleagues. The software features enhanced security features to allow you to share sensitive data with coworkers, customers or business partners. Excel 2007 also supports Microsoft's Excel XML file format, which reduces the size of spreadsheets and improves interoperability with other data sources.

• OneNote 2007: OneNote is a digital notebook that allows you to organize your life, schedule and tasks. You'll be able to store notes, pictures, digital handwriting, audio, video and more. This gives you a central application that allows you to record class or meeting notes. You'll also be able to sync data with your Windows Mobile PDA and quickly search through information.

• InfoPath 2007: InfoPath is an information-gathering program that can create and deploy electronic forms for the purposes of information collecting. The software works with the SharePoint Server to extend business processes outside your corporate firewall. This allows you to deliver forms via Outlook e-mail, web browser forms or forms for mobile devices.

• Groove 2007: Groove is a software package that is designed to allow teams to collaborate on projects. The software allows you to create workspaces that allow team members to communicate and collaborate effectively and efficiently. Groove functions without the need for a dedicated server. You can even use it offline; the software automatically autosyncs changes between you and the other peers in your workspace.

Certain inking features require running Microsoft Windows XP Tablet PC Edition or later. Speech recognition functionality requires a close-talk microphone and audio output device. Information Rights Management features require access to a Windows 2003 Server with SP1 or later running Windows Rights Management Services.

Connectivity to Microsoft Exchange Server 2000 or later is required for certain advanced functionality in Outlook 2007. Instant Search requires Microsoft Windows Desktop Search 3.0. Dynamic Calendars require server connectivity.

Connectivity to Microsoft Windows Server 2003 with SP1 or later running Microsoft Windows SharePoint Services or Office SharePoint Server 2007 is required for certain advanced collaboration functionality. PowerPoint Slide Library requires Office SharePoint Server 2007. Connectivity to Office SharePoint Server 2007 required for browser-enabled InfoPath forms and additional collaboration functionality. Groove Messenger integration requires Windows Messenger 5.1 or later or Communicator 1.0 or later. Includes a 5 year subscription to the Groove relay service.

Some features require Microsoft Windows Desktop Search 3.0, Microsoft Windows Media Player 9.0, Microsoft DirectX 9.0b, Microsoft Active Sync 4.1, microphone, audio output device, video recording device (such as a webcam), TWAIN-compatible digital camera or scanner, Windows Mobile 2003 powered Smartphone or Windows Mobile 5 powered Smartphone or Pocket PC, or a router that supports Universal Plug and Play (UPnP). Sharing notebooks requires users to be on the same network.

Internet Explorer 6.0 or later, 32-bit browser only. Internet functionality requires Internet access.
