For the price, I was surprised at the quality of the video that was delivered with this camcorder. I purchased it at D&H because I needed a camera to record a family event and I did not have my other, more expensive camcorder available. This unit is a gem if you are shooting outdoors or in a well lit indoor location. I was also able to download the video readily with the firewire connection into my PC

Every time I pressed the PAUSE button while filming, the camera rewinds 2-4 seconds of tape, thus cutting off the last portion of everything I filmed. Unacceptable! B&H gave excellent service in allowing me to return the camcorder for a full refund.
