The GZ-MG130 Everio G Camcorder continues JVC's fine tradition of producing revolutionary camcorders. What makes the GZ-MG130 so special is its ability to record video and still pictures to an HDD (Hard Disk Drive) as well as to an SD or SDHC (High Capacity) memory card. This eliminates the need to purchase the recording medium because it's built right into the camera. The GZ-MG130's 30 GB drive can store up to 37.5 hours of video, and more than seven hours of DVD-quality video in the MPEG-2 format, with 2-channel Dolby Digital audio that's just as amazing as the video.
The 1/6" CCD captures every detail of your videos and stills at up to 640 x 480 resolution. JVC's Megabrid engine deals with video and stills in different ways, so they both look their best. Connect Everio to your computer by USB 2.0, S-video or AV outputs and make your own DVDs. A complete software suite is included.

- It's easy to get the right settings for your video. Choose from Twilight, Fixed Shutter, Snow or Sports. For a more artistic look, try Spotlight, Strobe, Sepia, Black & White or Classic Film.
- INFO Button
- At the touch of the INFO Button, you can get on-screen information about remaining battery life, hard disk space or recording time in any mode.
- Power-Linked Operation
- Just open the viewfinder to turn the camcorder on. Close the viewfinder to the it off.
- Remote Control
- The wireless remote control adds convenience to your recording and playback. You can watch your video the same way you would if it were on a DVD.
- SDHC Slot
- The SDHC memory card is a higher capacity version of the conventional SD Card, the SDHC cards have the capacity to store an astounding 32GB at higher speeds than the standard SD cards.
- USB 2.0
- The Universal Serial Bus connector is a staple of current computers. USB 2.0 provides high speed transfer of stills and video directly from your camcorder to your PC.
- PictBridge
- PictBridge ensures ease of transfer for photo files. With a USB cable, you can print photos directly from your camcorder to a PictBridge-compatible printer, without the computer in between.

I have never owned a video camera before and I just got this one yesterday! This thing is amazing! It is small, easy to use, zoom's really far, and the sound quality is superb. I didn't even need to read the directions to begin using it. The only reason I looked at the directions was to put the strap on. I love this thing and can't wait to get some good video with it.
