- Recordable DVD Media
- Record your favorite shows onto DVD-RW, DVD-R, DVD+RW, and DVD-RAM DVD discs. The DMR-ES15 is also compatible with DVD+R Double layer media and provides up to 14 hours of media recording.
- Multi-Format Player
- Don't worry about limited playback capabilities, the DMR-ES15 can play DVD, DVD-RW (VR Mode), DVD-RW (Video Mode), DVD-R, DVD+R, DVD+RW, DVD-RAM, VCD and CD-DA discs. Also, you can play your favorite songs from CDs or MP3 files, and JPEG images.
- Progressive Scan
- The DMR-ES15 is a progressive scan DVD player, capable of scanning an entire video frame at once; scan-lines commonly associated with interlaced video are drastically reduced. The result is a spectacularly clear image with no motion artifacts (stair-stepping), and details so sharp they seem as if they're etched onto the screen.
- Quick Start Recording
- Thanks to high-speed quick-start, with DVD-RAM disc, you are ready to record just 1 second after switching on the power. Being able to record almost instantly, means that you will never miss the Monday night kick off!
- Simultaneous Recording and Playback
- While you're recording this week's episode of your favorite TV show, you may want to watch last week's episode.
