Edirol / Roland M-10DX - 10-Channel 24-Bit / 96kHz Digital Audio Mixer
The Edirol/Roland M-10DX is a compact, cost-effective digital audio mixer for project studios, video editing workstations, home studios, etc. Based on the M-16DX, the M-10DX combines an even smaller profile with powerful DSP processing for a mixer that fits within the budget and size constraints of any project studio.
The M-10DX delivers a 24-bit 96kHz mixing environment with built-in DSP processing and control. The mixer features 1o inputs of balanced 1/4" phone line connections and two XLR microphone inputs on channels one and two. Channels 3/4, 5/6, 7/8 and 9/10 are stereo paired for keyboards and stereo line devices. Digital stereo I/O is supplied with S/PDIF coaxial and optical Tos-link connectors.
The mixer's internal DSP engine features plenty of high quality effects and mastering processing. Room Acoustic Control uses a built-in microphone to analyze room acoustics and compensate for the frequency response of your studio. The M-10DX packs all the featured by digital console users in a compact, space efficient unit with an affordable price.

a little hard to use but for the money is good, and there are not control for channels 7 8 9 and 10 except the volume. so far it working ok.

This compact mixer met and exceeded all my expectations. I do a lot of studio recording work, and I needed a small mixer for various tasks. It works perfectly, no noise (being fully digital with digital output), and is built solidly. Granted, its not "road worthy", but for studio work its perfect.

I do audio and video post production and needed a nice single channel audio compressor for voice over work, my old dbx 163x was dying of natural causes. Scanning the usual a/v and music store websites I was hard pressed to find a decent compressor for less [...] For $100 more I can score a ten channel digital mixer complete with not one compressor but nearly half a dozen different flavors. Two independent channels of compression along with a selection of effects for the main output, including stereo 16 band equalization, multiband compression, reverb and delay! Not to mention the automated monitor playback equalization feature.On top of all of the great features, the quality and musicality of the effects are outstanding.
