Comments about Edirol / Roland M-10MX 10 Channel Battery Powered Audio Mixer with 24-bit / 96kHz Digital Output:
For the price of this unit you can't go wrong. Yes I wish it had a panning on each input channel, but other than that it is a very good sounding, simple, small and minimalist mixer.
If you need something small yet very useful, this is it

Comments about Edirol / Roland M-10MX 10 Channel Battery Powered Audio Mixer with 24-bit / 96kHz Digital Output:
I patched 2 battery powered wireless mic's and an MP3 player into the mixer and fed the stereo output to a boom box. This gave me two voice overs mixed with stereo music, all battery powered. Sound quality is very good. Worked straight out of the box. B&H's price is $60 cheaper than [...] A bigger mixer would have equalizer controls but wouldn't be battery powered.

This little mixer was perfect for mixing the audio from several different video components into one send to the main mixer.

Comments about Edirol / Roland M-10MX 10 Channel Battery Powered Audio Mixer with 24-bit / 96kHz Digital Output:
Roland's M-10MX audio mixer brings control over volume levels and a decent monitoring circuit to my collection of semi-pro Sony and Panasonic gear, and the rash of RCA in-and-out connectors coming with it all. For dealing with CD players, VHS decks, DV-CAM and Mini-DV recorders, smaller sound reinforcement mixing console feeds or other consumer and semi-pro gear, the M-10MX is nearly perfect.
Make no mistake, this Edirol product line item may be considered just a toy by the big-boy audio professionals (what with its plastic housing, short-throw pots and lack of XLRs) but it also brings us "semi-pros" 5 dual line-level inputs (two with variable pads) plus a mini-pin stereo mic input, and two dual-channel, double connector outs, PLUS coaxial and optical digital connections -- all for less than 100 bucks! Add internal battery or AC wall wart operation, great transparent circuitry, and a main output master level control -- now how many would you buy?
Yeah, missing (and missed) are some bar-graph LED VU-meters, but that tiny blinking "overload" warning light is surprising accurate when it comes to preventing clipping and overloading. And the headphone circuit is separate from the main output amplifiers, allowing for monitoring even with the master all the way down. Great to have, but if you use the master for gang-fading up and and down, don't get caught thinking you're sending output just because you hear it in your headphones. I'd like to see two monitoring jacks, one pre-fade and one post-fade.
Aside from a couple design-versus-value decisions on Roland's part, for the money this mixer rocks!!!

Comments about Edirol / Roland M-10MX 10 Channel Battery Powered Audio Mixer with 24-bit / 96kHz Digital Output:
This product works great. There is no added noise, and each of the channels can be FULLY MUTED, unlike some other mini-mixers. The device can actually be battery powered if need be to make it even more versatile.
