International orders*Zeiss' 8x32 Victory T* FL binocular is the epitome of optical excellence. From any measurement of greatness it succeeds admirably, a tool bereft of weakness which becomes so intuitive with use as to functionally disappear from the user's mindset. This should be the goal of any binocular-to be the invisible conduit to great viewing of the subject. The 8x32 has taken over a large share of the market choice at the top because it is so good at so many things: bright but still relatively compact, incredibly wide in its apparent viewing field and also able to focus upon close subjects.
The optics of the 8x32 Victory T* FL were created with elements of abnormal partial dispersion, a chunk of gobbledygook easily translating to the observer as the theoretical limit of razor sharp imagery free of color shift or chromatic aberration, the dreaded bane of bargain binoculars. When focusing upon a flat subject, the image is as sharp at the edges of the enormous viewing field as it is at the center. The broad focusing range goes from end to end in just a single rotation of the center focus dial, which also houses the dioptric correction.
The 8x32 Victory T* FL, like all ultra-premium European crafted binoculars, is not for the frugally minded. It is instead a product intentionally designed to deliver awe-inspiring optical and mechanical brilliance, and for many the lifetime of expected performance from such a device quickly amortizes its high initial investment.

Comments about Zeiss 8x32 Victory T* FL Binocular (Green):
Anyone looking through mine says "wow" - no color fringing at all; extremely bright; smooth fast focusing; I find them very easy to hold well (I have medium men's hands) and good covering material; and they are reasonably rugged, with objective caps that don't fall off. I wear glasses (-4.25 diopter) and can see the entire field, and the eyecups are a silicon that does not slip around on my glasses. These Zeiss 8x32 are extremely wide angle, making it easy to find things immediately, and to catch things coming into the field of view. At 20oz. they are easy to carry - and yet they are just heavy enough to damp out much random movement. As I said, I seriously believe these may be the very best binoculars ever made for anyone who walks with bins, mountain climbs, or otherwise wants to keep weight down, but who wants or needs superb image. Did I mention they focus to less than 6ft? That they are waterproof? Love these.
