The Garner Professional Degausser, CDS-2500AHJX - High Voltage Design (for Japan or Other Countries where Voltage and Hertz Ratings are the Same), 100-200 VAC, 50 Hz is designed to erase all formats of media that are up to 6" in width. The degaussing field strength switch provides the option to change between high and low field strengths. It is like having two degaussers in one.

On low, the CDS-2500AHJX is a continuous-duty degausser capable of degaussing over 90 VHS tapes per minute without overheating. On high, the CDS-2500AHJX is a high-energy degausser capable of erasing the newest metal tape formats of up to 2400 Oersted.

If your company is dealing with sensitive material that needs to be destroyed after a certain amount of time, a Garner Degausser is an indispensable addition to your inventory.

This Degausser erases many different kinds of tapes and diskettes with 100% accuracy. The beauty of this system is that once material is erased, it cannot be retrieved. This type of treatment assures maximum destruction for sensitive material no longer required.

An additional benefit of degaussing is that there will be no need to purchase additional blank tapes. Erased tapes can be used as many times as they can be re-serviced. And, inasmuch as the tapes are now blank, the integrity of the new, overwritten programs will not be compromised.
