The DMX35 Cable Integrity Tester from Whirlwind is a device designed to test the working status of 3- and 5-pin XLR cables. Simply plug the cables into the tester jacks and rotate the unit's test knob. LED lights will indicate how the cable is wired and whether there are shorted conductors, among other parameters. This unit runs off of (1) 9V battery.
