The Samsung L73 Digital Camera is a sleek and pocket-sized digital point-and-shoot camera with a capture resolution of 7.2 megapixels, and a precision 3x optical zoom lens. The L73, equipped with Smart Touch technology, is the ideal camera for photographers who want a compact digital camera they can take anywhere without compromising on features, image quality or ease of use.
The L73 includes Samsung's Intelligent Face Recognition Technology, which detects the subject's face, automatically adjusts auto focus and auto exposure to ensure better composition and image quality in portraits, and other shots featuring people The camera also features Samsung's proprietary ASR image stabilization system to help reduce camera shake and image blur during longer exposures, and in situations where holding the camera steady is impossible. Furthermore the Wise Shot feature automatically takes two consecutive pictures in rapid succession one with ASR enabled, and one with the flash - and prompts the user to review both and keep the preferred version.

- The L73 supports SVGA quality (800 x 592 @ 20fps) for an enhanced video shooting experience, plus VGA and lower resolution recording for home viewing or internet use, and you can even edit your movies right on the camera itself. - Motion Capture Mode
- The high-speed continuous shooting function makes it possible to take 30 VGA resolution images (640x480) in one second so you can easily analyze your golf swing, capture a race car speeding by, or study other sequences of motion.
- Red-eye Fix
- A special Red-eye Fix algorithm on the camera automatically eliminates red-eye from your pictures. You can remove red-eye during image payback, or for even greater convenience, set the camera to automatically detect and eliminate red-eye from your shots as they are taken.

I use it in the hospital to capture pictures of my patients. Even intraoral views are feasible with the macro. Ok is not as good as my OM2n with macro and ringflash, but still amazing it can do. The buttons around the screen are very useful
