Comments about Behringer PMP2000 - 10 Channel Audio Mixer:
I was planning to purchase a Mackie powered mixer, but the price on this model from B&H was too good to pass up. I am not unhappy with the decision - this is a very good mixer and a great value.

We use these mixer/amplifiers for events such as weddings, receptions, speeches, etc. They have plenty of inputs, plenty of power, and plenty of flexibility. I have always had good luck with Behringer products.

Comments about Behringer PMP2000 - 10 Channel Audio Mixer:
Great little unit that puts out a lot of power at a low cost.
Pros: Tons of channels to plug in anything you need. Several good effects that can be placed on selected channels. Easy to use interface. Dual equalizers allow for split outputs and send highs to one set of speakers and lows to another (incredibly handy if you have a sub you want to power with it). Connections seem fairly rugged. I play in a chop shop, which is usually pretty dirty, and have never had any trouble with dirty connections.
Cons: No l/r pan. Can't choose different effects on different channels.
Way more pros than cons. I've always been a fan of the quality behringer puts into their equipment.

Comments about Behringer PMP2000 - 10 Channel Audio Mixer:
I am a hobby music producer, and occaisonal small-time (very small-time) performer. I bought the PMP2000 powered mixer for band practices, parties, and specifically this year for heavy metal karaoke at a halloween party. I have nothing bad to say about the PMP2000. It's solidly built, has all the right controls, a convenient layout, and pretty good digital effects. For the price, you can't go wrong. And B&H's price was excellent - the lowest anywhere, in fact, [...]. I use several Behringer products - mostly mixers, but also a rack-mount preamp and a rack-mount compressor. Their products are solidly built, effective, and inexpensive. The sound quality is high, the noise floor is low. This powered amp is a lot heavier than Yamaha's similar amp, but Behringer houses the PMP in a heavy wood box, whereas Yamaha's is in a lightweight plastic housing. Not sure which I prefer - the Yamahas are easier to lug around, but in my opinion a powered amp like this should be heavy. you don't want it to slide off a table or speaker in the chaos of a live performance or gig.

Comments about Behringer PMP2000 - 10 Channel Audio Mixer:
I use this mixer to run audio for parties. With 10 channels there is plenty of room for a wired mike, a wireless mike, and two laptops. The onboard EQ's realy shape the sound to the room. There are a few professional features that I may not use until I figure them out but for now the power and the great sound it produces is good enough for me.
