The LensCoat LegCoat Tripod Leg Protector Set is a set of three tripod leg covers, which are made of closed-cell foam padding and heavy-duty neoprene. They are soft to the touch but rugged in function. The padding guards your hands from the cold tripod legs in lower temperatures, and can protect the tripod from minor nicks and scratches. Made with "hook & loop" fasteners for easy assembly.
Finished in simple black, ideal for everyday use. Also available in camouflage patterns for different seasons and habitats .

Comments about LensCoat LegCoat Tripod Leg Protectors (Black):
You really can't tell by the photo how bulky this product really is. It may be light but in my opinion, it doesn't need to be this thick. If you have small hands don't even consider it.
The foam is fairly cheap and has one adhesive strip that fits against the leg. The outside is neoprene and is sturdy enough but you can't use the neoprene alone without the foam. It's not even remotely adjustable and frankly, even with the foam, was a little too big. I plan on using a sewing machine to sew another velcro strip onto the neoprene so I can use it alone without the foam.
People who use backpacks may want to reconsider this product. I can't slide the leg into the loops on the side of my pack when this item is attached.
The first time I used it out in the field, it ended up getting wet. It's difficult to remove the foam without ripping it after it's on and I ripped one of the foam pieces rendering it absolutely useless.
As I mentioned, unless you are handy with a sewing machine, don't bother. I expected more for my money. Very disappointing!
