I use it for my photo shop. Difficult part was that the directions could be better written. I am still working things out on it.

Comments about Adesso CyberTablet 12000 9" x 12" Graphics Tablet:
I use this product for photo editing, painting, and digital music (Sibelius 6); and for signing PDF documents without having to print them out.
Great sensitivity. Sure, I would like greater sensitivity, but for the price you really can't beat it.
I can't say that there are things not so great about it because if I wanted a product that could do more things or other things, then I would have bought that product. I don't use the mouse, so I can't really comment on it. But I didn't buy it for the mouse.
One thing I could say is that a previous model I had (it was stolen), was able to adjust the size of the canvas if I wanted to. Don't know why it can't be done with this somewhat newer model.

Comments about Adesso CyberTablet 12000 9" x 12" Graphics Tablet:
I am a general photographer that does photojournalism and portrait photography. I love this tablet it increases my work flow quite a bit and saved my wrist from editing on a trackpad. The only problem I have with this tablet is the mouse that came with it is ineffective and does not work well, but I purchased this for the pen and massive active space. I would and have recommended this to many of my photographer and graphic designer friends.

Comments about Adesso CyberTablet 12000 9" x 12" Graphics Tablet:
There is no facility in this product to size the tablet for an area of the screen. Also, multiple screens are grabbed as the whole area of the tablet so only one screen should be used when using this product.
definitely NOT for the power application user!!

The set up manual is diffecult to understand, I had to call their support center, very helpful, to get it working. If you have windows 7 just plug in and go, but it does come with earlier operating system cd's. But set up was strange.

Comments about Adesso CyberTablet 12000 9" x 12" Graphics Tablet:
I use the Cybertablet 12000 Graphics Tablet in an undergraduate educational setting to draw chemical structures for classroom presentation (powerpoint and projection via computer) and to grade electronic papers and laboratory reports from students. It works relatively well for these purposes.
On the plus side, it is a lot faster for me to draw a chemical structure using this tablet than to use chem-draw for each structure. Likewise, it quickly allows me to mathematical derivations in an electronic manner that can be shared with students. When grading electronic lab reports it allows me to circle specific items in photos or on graphs and then annotate on the side my comments about the data. This is way more effective than using the "add comment" feature in word and then inserting a description of the item you are trying to point out to the student.
On the minus side, the mouse is not overly useful and it is not something that is very "portable." The large size makes it easy to work with but it is so big that it doesn't fit safely into my laptop bag. I also wouldn't plan on moving it around too much because the usb plug does not seem to be very well attached to the tablet--it looks quite flimsy. If you need a portable tablet I would buy the smaller version or something else. If this tablet is going to live permanently in your office then it is fine.
Not specific to the product, it is a little hard to get used to writing "invisibly" on the tablet on the side of the computer and then looking at a screen to see your inking appear. With practice, however, it gets much more manageable.
Overall, the cost is low and so far quality is fine.

I tried to use it to edit and change text and pictures. The software was not compatible with the MAC operating system. It was not easy to work with but when I get some time I will adapt it to my needs.
