Running Windows 7 64-bit. Computer would not recognize the hardware. Tried on another PC (same OS). Hardware recognized, but during software install, PC crashed (blue screen then shut down). After that, hardware no longer recognized on that PC either. This is the second D-Link product I've owned (the other was a USB hub) and both failed in short order. They appear to have a quality control problem.

I bought this product for my new custom desktop, it was referred to me by a friend. It was a very easy install. After less than 10 mins of set up i was up and running. I like the 3 antennas because of the range.

Comments about D-Link Xtreme N PCI Express Desktop Adapter - Draft 802.11n:
This was very easy to install and it worked great right away. Our last adapter didn't always pick up the signal from our wireless router before, but no such issues with this adapter. I have been using it for three weeks and it has worked flawlessly. I'm using a Mac Airport Extreme as my router and our PC downstairs picks up the signal without any problems.

Pretty nice adapter if you've only got pcie adapter slots on your mother board, I get about 70% signal strengh from my router from different levels of the house, works great with wireless n and has great speeds and was super easy to install in both the motherboard and the software on the computer as well!
