We were replacing a 3.5 inch under cabinet TV/Radio which is 20+ years old. Trying to find a replacement in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada was impossible. The all too familiar “Nobody wants those, everyone is getting a wall mount, now we have….” was the usual answer. So off to the net. A couple of goggles and bingo, just what we wanted. We checked the reviews (pros and cons) then decided to go for it. The order was placed, [...] Setup was easy for this under the cabinet unit. Here’s a tip: if you drill from the underside of the cabinet, flip the pattern so the printing is to the cabinet. The front of the pattern is still the front and the back the back. It would be nice if the pattern would be printed on both sides with appropriate LARGE BOLD LABELING of the appropriate side (UNDER – INSIDE). A short scan of the instructions for operation and we had DVD and Radio setup. The remote that comes with the unit is great. About 5 minutes playing with the remote and we had our favorite radio stations in and were watching a DVD. The biggest downer had to be buying an external rabbit ear antenna. I thought the unit came with built in antenna but that was for FM radio only. Our older unit had a telescopic antenna. This is why the rating is only 4 not 5 stars. We picked up an inexpensive antenna ($20) locally, attached it, ran the TV scanner and picked up 7 channels. Having the flip down screen has freed up counter space. So far no problems but it has only been a couple of weeks. Would I recommend this unit, yes!The swivel screen TV allows one to basically eliminate glare.

On the 1st(2 years ago) unit we bought, the TV went dead.
But we liked the concept, and purchased another (same model).
When the 2nd arrived, the DVD/CD player was DOA.
So the 3rd unit is pending shipment.......as soon as the RMA is authorized.

I purchased this item to replace my previous Audiovox under-cabinet TV/DVD, which after many years of reliable use had finally started to show some wear. I was pleased to find that the price was close to half of what this product sold for years ago. My concern was that reduced cost usually means reduced quality, which I quickly discovered. The DVD drawer is flimsy and feels like it can easily break. The drop down screen has a similar feel, is highly reflective, and not as bright as my previous unit. I should also mention that the mounting template is flawed when it comes to the placement of the rear screws. I recommend first placing the template over the TV/DVD player to accurately mark on it where the holes should be BEFORE drilling into your cabinet. Aside from these issues, I found the image and audio quality to be excellent. Some on-line reviews indicate the screen may go dark within a year or two but at less then two bills, I'll take my chances. If counter-top real estate in your kitchen is an issue, this product is the only solution.

The under cabinet TV by Audiovox is perfect for a kitchen TV. About ten years ago we purchased a first generation Audovox undercabinet TV from B&H. Sadly the TV broke and we needed to replace it. We were lost without the kitchen TV. WE therefore purchased a new Audiovox under cabinet TV and are completely safisfied with it. The convenience of having it under the cabinet freeing up counter space is a real plus.WE would recommend the to anyone looking for an additional TV without havingto take up counter space

So far, this has been a good purchase. We had an earlier version of the same product that needed repairs a second time, so we decided to replace it. We use it in our kitchen. The picture and sound quality are very good. The size of the screen is rather large in relation to the 9" actual picture size. We probably won't use the radio, and not very likely to use the DVD player, but the TV function is worth the price in a very narrow product line.

The TV is easy to install under the counter. Screen takes some adjusting to make it bright enough in the kitchen. The fold-down screen has a large border, making it bigger than necessary, and it doesn't adjust smoothly to all viewing angles. Controls are fairly easy to understand and use; the on-screen display less so, but it's needed only for setup.
The relatively large number of reviews citing failures after a few months caused me to buy the extended warranty, but even with that the TV seems to be worth the price and a good replacement for our old Sony, which isn't available with an ATSC tuner.
Recommended with reservations.

We were relatively satisfied with the TV for the first 12-15 months, but then the picture started to go. Now it won't come on at all. In order for us to even have it looked at will cost $100. Too bad... The radio tuning buttons don't seem to work very well either.

Received this as a gift one month ago. I was thrilled with the idea of it not taking up any counter space. Well, It's been intstalled for one month now and the picture went. Now have to send it back for repair. I am very disappointed with this product and would not buy it.

I bought this product to replace a 10 yr old B&W CRT TV that was under a kitchen cabinet. I just needed a way to monitor, what was playing on the TV in another room when going to the kitchen. I looked at single purpose TVs that had a smaller foot print, & therefor easier to mount, but they seemend flimsey & had small screens. I may never use the disk player,radio bands & timer, but this unit has good sound, a larger screen and a handy remote. All in all, worth the price.

Overall I was extremely pleased with both B&H[...] the product. [...]which made me very happy. Installing the player was extremely simple, using the supplied template, standoffs (shortest ones)& screws. In about 20 mins it was up and running. The TV has a nice clean, clear picture and the radio reception is also very good. These were the two most important aspects to me when searching for this product. I haven't used the DVD yet but I expect it will be fine too. The only drawback is the remote - the keypad is a little difficult for my Mom to see clearly, but I explained what buttons she needed to use and it has ben working fine for her. I did quite some research before purchasing it. I agree with most of the reviews here [...]: easy to install, straightforward setup and using. We do not use the DVD player. The TV image is really good. The sound of the radio is pretty good after I attached it with an antenna taken from a broken radio.
