Comments about Dr. Bott 3-Port USB 2.0 T3Hub Portable Hub (Silver):
I have a Macbook Air, so a hub is an important companion. This one is not as small as some, and not as flat as my MBA, but it handles the power needs of all my USB devices. That's key.

is compact, and works great. I notice that if I connect an USB 1.0 then an USB 2.0 it works at the speed of the USB 1.0, so it takes the speed of the first you connect.

With all my 'extra's" and only 2 USB ports on my Mac Book Pro, this was just what the doctor ordered to give me a few extra ports. And you can't beat the size, as it slips nicely into my backpack for me to take along. In fact, it's just about the same size as my wireless modem, both of which slip into the pockets of the pack. works great as well.
