I had a hard time convincing the wife to buy a Home Theater system because she didn't want 'those ugly speakers everywhere'...guess who changed her opinion in a heartbeat when she saw them (all seven of them). And, in my opinion, the sound compares very favourably with other satellites that are double the price. Oh and did I mention that the swivel mounts are great too and included?

Bought the pair of satellites to extend my JBL CS6100BG to a 7.1 configuration. Sound is clear and I'm happy with them. I would suggest that any new buyers look at the price of the JBL speaker stands before buying these though...

I bought these speakers to match and finish out my 7.1 theater surround system. These are an exact match for front and side surround satellites that came in my 5.1 JBL 6100 system. Mounting and aiming is a snap with the excellent pivot ball mounts. I run them off a Denon 790 AVR and the sound is incredible.

I'm using these speakers with a mini desktop system consisting of class d amplifier, small Yamaha subwoofer, Sony HD Tuner and IPod. These speakers have solid mid-bass and smooth highs. They perform better than similar speakers that I have owned in this size and the construction quality is typical JBL. The piano black finish and contemporary styling are also features that were a plus for me.
