Sling Media SlingLink TURBO HomePlug Turbo Transmitter and 4-Port Receiver
The SlingLink TURBO from Sling Media is a HomePlug Turbo-compliant device that is designed for use with the Slingbox Internet TV broadcaster. The SlingLink allows you to transmit Ethernet data over your home's electrical wires. It is a great solution for Slingbox users, as a home theater is rarely in the same room as an Internet router. The SlingLink includes a 1-port box to connect to an Internet router and a 4-port box that connects to a SlingBox and other Ethernet-capable home theater components.
- Data over Electrical Wires
- Transmitting data over your home's electrical wiring allows you to set up a network without having to run Ethernet cabling between rooms. This is ideal solution for users who have their SlingBox in a different room than their Internet router.
- Simple Installation
- The SlingLink consists of two HomePlug 1.0 Turbo-compliant devices. The 1-port box plugs directly into an AC power outlet and plugs into your Internet router. The 4-port box plugs into an AC outlet and allows you to connect your SlingBox and other Ethernet home theater components to the Internet.
