The EXT-HDMI-242-BLK 2x2 HDMI Switcher from Gefen is a switcher designed to route high-definition video in multiple resolutions. Signals can be routed from (2) inputs to up to (2) output channels that connect to your display units. This model will also manage multi-channel digital audio from any one of (2) sources to the displays. A digital audio output port is also available if you need to direct the audio to an audio receiver.
This unit extends the range of HDMI compliant devices by equalizing and reclocking the HDMI signal. Resolutions up to 1080p, 2k, and 1920 x 1200 are supported. The switcher can be controlled with the included IR remote control or via a serial RS-232 remote port. This unit is HDMI and HDCP compliant.
