Comments about Aleratec DVD-R LightScribe V1.2 Duplicator Grade Media (Spindle Pack of 100):
I bought this product to copy my company's movies for sale. I wished to find a fast and artistic way to make covers for our DVDs. I was attracted by the environmentally friendly concept of printing directly onto the disc with a laser and not using inks or sticky labels.
Unfortunately, the burn time for the cover art is slow and the results are not as attractive as print-on-DVD or printed DVD labels. They do function fine as blank DVD s, but are more expensive than other blank DVD s.
SUMMARY: The finished artwork and text is very muted and monochrome. If this suits your purposes, such as archiving, then this might work for you. However, if you are looking for a bright and exciting DVD cover, look elsewhere.

Comments about Aleratec DVD-R LightScribe V1.2 Duplicator Grade Media (Spindle Pack of 100):
We have only done the labeling on the outside of the DVD. We really wanted red but couldn't find it. The gold has a hazy look to it. The next step is to burn the 150 DVDs that we need.

Comments about Aleratec DVD-R LightScribe V1.2 Duplicator Grade Media (Spindle Pack of 100):
I use these to burn a golf instruction video and a label. I then sell them in my internet business. I have burned about 50 so far. Two had a little white material on the data side. I maybe could have cleaned them but not worth my time for 63 cents. No other problems. Perfect burns. No errors. Here is some information you need to know:
CAUTION! All CDs and DVDs are fragile media. Handle only by the edges and the hole. Do not touch the data side. Do not allow the data side to come in contact with anything that may scratch it or deposit foreign material on it. Do not drop or slide a disc into a drive tray. Place it in the drive tray very carefully. When you insert a disc into a drive, it usually takes 20 seconds or more for it to start.
