Comments about Celestron Ultima-LX 8mm Wide Angle Eyepiece (1.25" & 2"):

The eyepiece is quite big but I fixed it nicely on my celestron 8SE after removing a few standard blocking screws.
The light intake is good but I had better results with the standard 25mm thru a 2x barlow. You don't get a much noticeable difference in magnification and the output is brighter and sharper.
With this eyepiece you need to be extremely still because any minor shake is really evident in your viewing.
Overall a decent product but I will be looking for a 5mm or 3mm to achieve better results.
I suggest this product but I'm eager to try else in the market as well.
To maximise the experience you need best seeing conditions and dark skies, especially for deep sky viewing.
