The 1-Port 10/100 Mbps USB 2.0 Print Server from TRENDnet allows you to share your USB printer among the computers in your network without the need to use a computer as a print server. You simply plug the printer into the USB port on the server and plug the server into your network via a standard RJ-45 Ethernet connection. The server is administered through a web-based admin tool that can be accessed from any computer on your network. A Windows-based admin tool is also included.
- Print Server
- The print server allows you to share your USB printer among computers in your network without the need for a computer to act as a print server. This lets you easily print from a various computers that are part of your network.
- Compact Size
- The server is much smaller and lighter than a dedicated PC used as a print server, measuring only 4.5 x 1.2 x 3.4" and weighing less than half a pound, it is easy to install and move.
- Administration Utility
- The server can be administered via an easy-to-use utility that can be accessed from any computer in your network with a web browser. A password can be set so that unauthorized users will not be able to modify the server settings. Initial setup must be completed via a Windows PC using the included software.

We have an old 1200 Series Samsung laser printer with a USB connection and we wanted to hook it up to our wireless network. It looked like the TRENDnet printer server would do the job.
