The Powerline HD Ethernet Adapter from Netgear allows you to extend your home LAN without the need for costly and time-consuming wiring. The Ethernet adapter plugs into an AC wall outlet for connectivity. At least two Powerline HD adapters are required for functionality. The device can communicate with other Powerline HD devices at speeds up to 200 Mbps, allowing you to leverage your home's electrical wiring to set up a network. You can even use it as part of a wireless network to help eliminate "dead spots" in coverage.
