International orders*Across the Pentax line of sport optics, and even binoculars as a whole, the 8x32 DCF ED Binocular stands out as a great entry. Part of Pentax's super-premium DCF ED series of extremely rugged roof prism units, it is blessed with pristine Extra-Low Dispersion (ED) glass elements. As good as Pentax's previous efforts were, such as the very fine DCF SP models, nothing works quite like ED glass when it comes to eliminating any trace of chromatic aberrations. The resolving power of the edge of your subject is impeccable, and the 8x32 DCF ED can hold detail in dark-colored birds or wildlife even when cast against a bleached, overcast sky.
All of the binoculars in the DCF ED series have every imaginable feature needed for the most demanding viewer, such as fully multicoated glass, large phase-coated roof prisms, nitrogen purged metal-based housings, and a hard water and dirt repelling coating on exterior elements.
All of Pentax's binocular line is backed by their "Worry-Free" warranty, which guarantees your binocular will be repaired or replaced no matter the cause for damage (even by your own fault) for a charge of $19.95.

Comments about Pentax 8x32 DCF ED Binocular:
I bought these for general purpose, plus occasional hiking and birding. I initially tried the Nikon Premier 8x20 LX L's because I wanted something small and light. But even although they are incredibly sharp almost edge to edge, the small 2.5mm exit pupil proved to be too finicky for me and required virtual absolute centering for a clear picture. Thanks to B&H's generous return policy I returned them and paid the difference for these.
The Pentax 8x32 DCF ED's are very easy on the eyes due to their incredibly sharp and virtually distortion free view.
Note that I use these without eyeglasses, so I can't comment on how well they work with them.
The excellent sharpness extends the "sweet spot" to about 85% of the view and is only marginally less sharp than that until the edges.
Chromatic aberration and other distortions are too minimal to be noticed under most circumstances unless you place the binos on a tripod and stare at air force charts all day. To my eyes only a tiny amount of CA is visible right at the edges. Too little and too far out to bother most people. Colors are vividly and accurately portrayed to keep even the most critical birders happy.
I'd rate these almost on a par with the Zeiss FL's, but slightly less bright, and probably even more so when compared to the larger 42mm objectives of the other top of the line binos.
A no fault life time warranty. Fog and waterproof plus an enhanced hard coating to reduce the chances of the lenses being scratched make these binos outstanding value for the quality delivered. The only downside IMHO is the extra 100 grams they weigh compared to most other high end binos with similar specifications.
