The OP/TECH USA D-Midsize Zoom, Soft Pouch - Digital D Series (Black) is an easy-access neoprene case made to hold most digital midsize zoom SLR cameras. It protects the camera and lens while in the field or in storage. It closes around the neck strap so that the neck strap is still usable. The Quick-Snap Retaining Strap Kit allows the pouch to remain attached to the camera at all times, or can be conveniently attached to a belt or bag strap. Although I have a camera case, there are times when I want to put my camera in my padded fanny pack. This cover adds another level of protection. The cover slips on and off and so I can keep it on even when the camera is around my neck and I do not have to worry about the camera hitting something or getting wet -- and when the cover is off, it is still attached. Nearly a perfect fit for my Nikon D90 and 18-118 lens.

Bought for Canon XTi w/ Tamron 18-200mm
I purchased this item for a client to use with his Canon Rebel XTi and Tamron 18-200mm lens. The client returned it and said it fit too loose.

I use the pouch with my Canon EOS Rebel and Tamron 70-300 mm lens. Fits perfectly! It's easy to get on and off and protects the camera in my bag. It is much easier to use than the Zing SLR camera cover. The only thing I don't like is the way it attaches to the camera. So I just remove the pouch and stick in in my bag when I'm shooting.

Comments about OP/TECH USA D-Midsize Zoom, Soft Pouch - Digital D Series (Black):
I've had this carrying pouch for a couple of weeks now. Previous to the purchase i did quite some online research and ended up with this pouch.
I'm using it for my Canon rebel series body connected to either the standard 18-55is kit lens or my 70-200mm f4 zoom lens. It's a bit too long for the standard zoom lens, but I was positively surprised, it even works with my (rather long) zoom lens if stretched.
All in all it is just what I was looking for. It will not replace a camera bag as it won't hold many accessories. It is fantastic for travelling light without risking your camera.

Great for protecting my E500/520 with the 70-300mm lens attached. Can keep the camera handy on the strap and take this pouch off in a jiffy. Offers some padding to the camera & lens.

My wife was tired of carrying the huge camera bag to soccer games, so we needed something to prevent accidental damage to and from the car. This pouch fit the bill and and our Canon XT still fits in the bag with the pouch. Great product.
