I use it in my Canon 5D to take pics at speaker events, where I shoot tons of pics at a time. Writes fast enough that I haven't missed a shot (due to waiting on the memory card).

Comments about Lexar 8GB UDMA 300x CF Card:
This card is the best card I have used to date in any of my cameras. It is reliable and most importantly fast. In my Canon 40D I can shoot RAW and shoot high speed full bursts of 6 and there is almost no wait time before I can continue shooting... if I get it 2-4 seconds I can even shoot another full burst. I just love it. I bought this card when it first hit the market. I know there are larger cards out there, but know I shoot almost exclusively with this card, and have six of them. Combine it with the Firewire 800 Reader and you have have an awesome combination and you don't spend 20-30 minutes downloading you photos to your computer you spend a few minutes per card.

I purchased this along with a compatable Lexar card reader. Just did a wedding with over 1400 photos the transfer rate was great, a lot quicker than anything that I have had in the past.

Comments about Lexar 8GB UDMA 300x CF Card:
This is Lexar's latest high speed 8G card and I love its performance. I shoot with Canon 1Ds MKII and MKIII. The heavy RAW files fly into the card and then fly off the card with a very noticeable reduction in time over the 133X cards.
I also like the new added software built into the card to view or download your files if your are in a rush and don't care to take the time to download them normally into your work flow
I was fortunate to purchase when there was a rebate and feel I'm getting more than my money's worth.
I plan to purchase a few more. I only use Lexar ever since I had a problem with a card when my MKII was new several years ago. The company next day air shipped a replacement before I sent them the problem card back. They saved me a great deal of extra time and trouble as I was scheduled for a client shoot and would have had to use many lower capacity cards. I've not had a single problem with any of the dozen or so Lexar cards I constantly use.

Comments about Lexar 8GB UDMA 300x CF Card:
This card is faster than my camera so no problems with that. It's very fast to get the pictures off the card onto my computer via a card reader. This card is fast and huge. 792x10.1 megapixel in raw... With the $80 rebate how could I go wrong?

Comments about Lexar 8GB UDMA 300x CF Card:
Purchased it for a trip to Disney Orlando, in preparation for a wedding shoot. Popped off 1,500 shots in less than four days and maxed it out twice (Canon 30D). Downloaded to the laptop via an old icky USB2 reader and it still sang sweetly.
Write speed was everything I would expect from my 30D (non-UDMA), and I've got a nice, good sized 8 Gig card capable of UDMA for the "Next Generation" body I'll purchase some day.
Can't ask for much more than that.

Comments about Lexar 8GB UDMA 300x CF Card:
By far the fastest card I use with the most memoery. The 40D is more of a space hog for me so I jumped to an 8Gig card. Lexar is the best.
