The Evolution UC33e from M-Audio is an advanced USB/MIDI control surface that retains ease-of-use, while being compatible with virtually any computer music system or MIDI setup. It allows instant and simultaneous control of up to forty-seven different parameters and provides thirty-three memory locations for storing favorite set-ups.

A "Snapshot" feature makes all controllers instantly live for real-time editing. A "Controller Mute" function allows for positioning of controllers prior to changing values, thus preventing parameters such as filter cut-off or amplitude levels from jumping abruptly during performance. The unit also features a drawbar mode which greatly enhances the experience of playing virtual instruments.

The Evolution UC33e includes a free download of Enigma, a powerful software editor/librarian for Mac and PC. The software allows the user to easily program, store and load setups for M-Audio and Evolution USB MIDI controllers and includes a huge library of files for use with VST plug-ins, instruments and host applications.
