This Eartec intercom kit provides you with everything you need to create a six-user full-duplex intercom system. It consists of the TCS Intercom Power Station, six Ultra Heavy-Duty Single-Ear Headsets, and six XLR cables.

The TCS Intercom Power Station can support up to six wired headsets in full-duplex mode with no beltpacks required for simultaneous hands-free talking between all users. It is housed in a rugged plastic console to withstand the rigors of use in the field. It is portable, but can also be permanently installed, and runs off of the included 12V battery or on AC power.

The Ultra Heavy-Duty Single-Ear Headsets feature a unique septagonal earcup design that fully covers the ear for long-lasting comfort. They do not require beltpacks because all volume and amplification switches are built into the headsets. Each headset is constructed from durable polycarbonate and has a flexible gooseneck mic boom.

Each cable has a 3-pin female XLR connector on one end and a 3-pin male XLR connector on the other to connect the headsets to the power station. The broadcast-grade cables are shielded to protect against signal interference and provide a grounded connection.

Note: This system can be expanded to accommodate 12 users by adding a junction box per each additional user.

    The Eartec TCS Intercom Power Station supports up to 6 wired headsets for full communication flexibility. No beltpacks are required, as amplification and volume control are built into the headsets. Housed in a rugged plastic console, the power station can take the rigors of field work with ease.

    It operates in full-duplex mode, offering full hands-free simultaneous talk among all stations. The unit is portable, but can also be permanently installed. It is powered by either the included 12-volt battery, or by AC power.

    The Ultra Heavy-Duty Single-Ear Headset from Eartec features a heptagonal earcup design that covers the ear fully. Its earpad is soft and wide, becoming thicker at the bottom and rear of the pads. It sports a flexible gooseneck mic boom. This unit is designed for TCS systems.

    The Kopul Studio Elite 4000 Series XLR M to XLR F Microphone Cable (50') is a studio-quality cable for connecting mics to mixers, preamps, audio interfaces and recorders; or to be used in any other application where XLR connectivity is required. The cable is engineered to be both quiet and durable, and is well-suited for critical recording and broadcast situations.

    Studio Elite 4000 Series cables are made from 24 AWG OFC copper wire that's wrapped with PE insulation and a conductive PVC inner shield. A cotton-yarn inner layer helps reduce electrostatic and microphonic noise. A 98% braided outer shield makes the cable resistant to EMI and RFI noise. The Neutrix XX silver connectors provide a high level of connectivity, and all the solder connections are shrink-wrapped for protection.

    Twin-conductive PVC inner shielding provides 100% coverage of the core conductor. It helps keep the cable's signal from radiating and affecting nearby cables, and also helps prevent external EMI from penetrating to the cable's core.

    Cotton yarn reduces electrostatic and microphonic noise.
    All solder points shrink-wrapped for protection.
