I attached the lens to my SD Sony handycam. The quality of the glass on the wide angle lens was immediately apparent, as it cleaned up alot of the noise you typically see with low quality glass. At full wide you get this cool peephole effect. With some tweaking in post I was able to turn it into a cool fisheye effect. I zoomed past it and still has a full quarter more of the image than with out the lens. I noticed that the camera was able to focus much faster and stay in focus alot longer throughout the optical and digital zoom. Up until I got to full zoom, then it was very blurry. The limitations of the handycam caused the image to stay blurry, so I backed it off a little and the handycam was able to focus on the image, while in almost full optical zoom.

I use this lens for shooting in a small martial arts studio as well as in our lecture room in our chiropractic office. With it I am able to get all the action at both locations. So far I have no complaints.

This lens is currently on my CX-150. I love that it doesn't have the fish-eye effect and no vignetting. Basically what you see with your eyes is what this lens will give you. Great lens at a very reasonable price.
