This DVD is an excellent learning tool for those new to the Pentax K10D camera. Well put together and easy to use. You will learn all the settings/functions of your camera in about 2 hours by using this DVD! I highly recommend this DVD for those who do not enjoy plowing through the often confusing and tedious operating manuals. Will definitely get you out there and shooting off the auto setting.

Like many, I have had an SLR in the past but never bothered learning how to use it. This DVD really helped me to become aquainted with my Pentax K10. The DVD went at a pace that I could follow and comprehend which is rare for DVD tutorials. I also liked the in depth menu. Very well done!

If you've never owned a camera before and just bought a Pentax K10D (Right!), then this DVD is for you. It explains all the basics, about photography in general as well as the Pentax K10D.After over 20 years of photography, I found this to be pathetically novice. I skipped entire sections, and fast-forwarded through many others. It is extremely lacking in information on the K10D information (which is why I purchased it), and spends too much time on basic photographic skills.If you own a K10D and want a fast paced intro to your new camera, don't look for help here. This is better suited as a substitute for a sleeping pill.
