        We needed this cartridge for our iPF8000 Plotter, upon opening the package, we noticed it came with additional components, this was nice, since we didn't consider the other parts too. It fixed our problems and resolved our printer issues.

          There's not much you can say about a maintenance cartridge, but I will note that I installed it to replace the one the printer said was full. The minute I put the new one in (and the printer went through a few motions) it said the new cartridge had 80% capacity remaining.

          I'm putting small volume as a con simply because it seems like the printer does more automatic printhead cleanings than it really needs to.

          It's recommended because you have to have it for the printer to operate. There is no override.

          Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

          You have no choice: you have to have it. You can't live without it. A thing your loved one needs. I mean your printer. That will be a mess without it. Always keep a spare one.
