Zoom H4 Podcasting Everywhere Kit for Mac

This podcasting kit provides everything you need to create podcasts from your home or out in the field. It includes the Zoom H4 portable recorder, an Audio-Technica AT804 dynamic microphone, FeedForAll podcasting software from NotePage, Inc, plus a six foot XLR cable, a desktop mic stand, a 2GB SD card, and two AA batteries.

The H4 is a four-track high-resolution portable digital recorder that's perfect for interviews, lectures, live performances, and more. It will record in either WAV or MP3 format, and can hold up to 34 hours of audio in MP3 format on the 2GB SD card. It has two built-in microphones for stereo recordings, but also features XLR/TRS combo jacks for connecting an external mic.

The AT804 dynamic mic can be connected to the H4 via the supplied six foot XLR cable. It has an omnidirectional pickup pattern, so it will pick up all of the noise in its environment. The rugged construction is great for use in the field. Use it hand-held, or on the included desktop stand.

The FeedForAll software for Mac lets you turn your audio into a podcast and distribute it via RSS. Wizards are included for newer users, and experienced users will love the ability to manually input RSS tags. The software fully supports the namespaces and extensions used by iTunes, so you can make your podcast available through iTunes.
