Device failed after fewer than 10 attempts. Worked initially as advertised, then intermittently and finally only in focus mode. Shutter lock slider works too stiffly. Totally disappointed with this product...

Comments about Dot Line Remote Release for Pentax Digital Cameras:
The feel is good and I like the cable length but it failed after two weeks. The half depress works for focus but will not fire the shutter.

Comments about Dot Line Remote Release for Pentax Digital Cameras:
This product is so simple to use. Just pull it out of the package and plug it into your camera. Then it is time to take some photos. I used this item for take product photos with a tripod and a lighting studio. I just loved the fact that I did not have to touch the camera to take a picture and have the chance of moving it in lower light conditions. Every picture came out crystal clear.
I would recommend this product to anyone and everyone. It feels very solid in the hand and allows you to press half way down on the button to auto focus.

Comments about Dot Line Remote Release for Pentax Digital Cameras:
This remote release works great! It has a handy 'lock' feather for bulb exposure. Mine came with the lock activated- and you simply slide the locking mechanism forward to disable it. I use it for portrait photography so I don't have to worry about camera shake while pushing the shutter release on the tripod. It's a bit tricky to push-halfway to get the camera to focus without tripping the shutter though... so I tend to focus using the camera's release, then use this to take the picture.
