The SE420 earphones from Shure provide top-quality audio in a sleek, compact, noise-isolating design that's ideal for use at home or on-the-road. Based on Shure's experience with professional in-ear monitors, each of the earpieces has dual TruAcoustic Microspeakers, in essence putting a separate woofer and tweeter into each ear for rich, detailed audio across the full frequency spectrum. A passive crossover between the armatures keeps highs and lows well-defined for an amazing sonic experience; perfect for high-quality recordings in lossless formats.
The included fit kit contains multiple sizes of ear sleeves, allowing you to find the perfect size for your ear and effectively reduce ambient noise by up to 90 percent so you can focus on your music. A detachable extension cable allows you to have as much or as little cable slack as you need. The 1/4" and airplane adapters make sure you can connect to virtually any audio source you come across, and a level attenuator brings high-output sources, such as airplane sound systems, down to a comfortable level. Keep it all in the included carrying case for easy, tangle-free storage.

Comments about Shure SE420 Sound Isolating In-Ear Stereo Headphones (White):
This product delivers great sound, but it will only truly block off noise if the headphones are fully stuffed into your ear canals, something that can be a bit painful.

Comments about Shure SE420 Sound Isolating In-Ear Stereo Headphones (White):
The music comes over as recorded instead of the wobbly base and inaccurate treble of other phones. They do provide a great listening experience and when I'm riding my bike or in an airplance the sound isolation of the in-canal system allows reasonable volume for the music and still great sounds. My con is the weight of the wires which includes a heavy connector to use a shorter or the longer cord.

Comments about Shure SE420 Sound Isolating In-Ear Stereo Headphones (White):
I have had low level shure headphones for the past 3 years I decided the if i am going to use them that much i might want to buy nicer ones. Well these were $100 cheaper than anywhere else so I had to buy them and the sound is amazing(If you enjoy high bass levels look at the 5 series much better bass) they are perfect for me and I would encourage anyone to buy them.
