The Lowepro Apex 100 AW Shoulder Bag (Black) is a single-compartment bag with adjustable, padded dividers that accommodates a pro-compact digital camera or digital SLR, plus accessories. The bag has a built-in micro-fiber cloth, that protects LCD screens and lenses. There is an All-Weather Cover that protects gear against bad weather, dust and sand. It has adjustable, padded dividers to provide excellent protection and a customized fit. The bag has a SlipLock attachment loop. The rugged exterior includes a molded rubber bumper and durable, water-resistant fabrics.

I'm giving this bag 5 stars because it is excellent quality with plenty of padding all around, and nice features such as the all-weather cover included. However this bag does not work with the Canon SX20 digital camera. I purchased this bag because it was the recommended bag for the SX20 camera. The camera does not fit unless you FORCE it into the bag. I like to just reach in and grab the camera easily, not fight to get it out. I ended up buying the next larger size bag, the LowePro Apex 110. If you've got the same Canon camera as I do, get the Apex 110. You won't be sorry.
For those of you with SMALLER digital cameras, the Apex 100 should work just fine.

I Use the product to carry my camera along with spare batteries and a spare digital card for filming videos.
The bag is a perfect fit for the above mentioned items. It is a very secure fit for the camers and offers a lot of padding to protect the camera from bumps and knocks.
The bag has just enough room for the camera, batteries and spare digital card. It is hard to zip close with only these items inside. The bag needs to be alittle larger so the camera would go in without having to be forced each time.

Reading some reviews about this product, I found that it was useful for the camera I own. But the Panasonic Gf2 with 14-42 lens it barely fix in there, and there's no room for anything else. It function very well however, but i was expecting for something a little bigger. This is useful for just extremely compact cameras.

I decided on this bag to carry a Nikon P7000 compact with a SB400 flash and spare battery. I didn't want any larger bag than necessary but large enough for the above gear. This bag will hold everything including the SB400 in its pouch if you remove the velcro padded divider. If you leave the divider in the bag and remove the flash from its pouch, that would also work. There's a nice mesh compartment in the top of the bag that's just right for a battery.
The other thing I like about the bag is that it's just a little better looking and nicer finish than the other LowePro bags I was considering.

The FZ100 fits perfectly in the case, removing the internal divider. The camera fits with his back to the side of the case with the lens cap attached. The fit is right, but perfect. It seems they were meant for each other.
The quality of construction and materials of the case is undoubtedly excellent.
I am very pleased with the Apex100 to protect my FZ100. It is perfect to be carried inside another bag, like a backpack, in daily use. Why worry about a possible fall or even plumb with an unexpected rain wherever I am. That makes me so carefree that makes me even more often use my FZ100.

Bought this for the Nikon P7000. I like the fit with the camera and 400 flash. A little tight with a strap on the camera, but fits OK even with the strap. Works for me.

Like it was made for the NEX5 and its kit zoom lens. As small as possible to carry that camera, a spare battery, extra card and a filter or two. I really like the Apex design. Rubber bottom adds extra protection. Belt loop on back is handy. I like to use a shoulder strap and a loose extra belt to keep the pack from swinging wildly every time I bend over. Excellent protection in minimalist size to match the NEX5 camera.

The bag seems well made with lots of padding. I made the mistake of thinking it was going to be bigger for carrying all my Zoom H2 equipment - it only carries the mic and a power cord.
So, while it is not being used as intended, it will fit my compact camera, its battery charger and the USB cord and not much more.

I searched for a long time for a small case for my Panasonic G1 with the 20mm pancake lens. I kept looking at this one but the specs indicated it was a bit too small---wrong. I saw a post on an Irish forum saying it fit perfectly so I ordered it and it is perfect for this camera/lens even with a aftermarket foam strap. The buckles look like metal in the photo but are nylon which I prefer.

Pro: Perfect size for the camera (Canon SX 20 IS) good cushioned sides, nice weather protection cover and pockets for memory card and extra batteries.
Con: Don't know if I'll ever use the provided bag divider as camera fits snug, bag could be a little roomier. Nothing beyond exra batteris and memory card will fit.

I bought this bag for my Lumix FZ35. I wanted a small camera bag that I could put the camera in and then put into my backpack or messenger bag, this bag works fine for that. The camera fits very snugly into it. If you want a more roomier bag that can fit other accessories, by the next size up (110). I like the fact that the bag has a belt loop and waterproof cover.
