It's a nice, spacious case for a G9 or A-series Canon, but for those looking for a belt pouch to hold a G9 and a mounted Lensmate adapter, this isn't a good choice if you want quick and easy access. Yes, the G9 and Lensmate can be forced in sideways, but the fabric's stretched to the limit (at least on my sample), and the zipper will barely close. Plenty of room for just the G9 and an extra battery, though. Single horseshoe-shaped zipper is a lot slower to use than a flap, like on the Canon PSC-85 or Lowepro D-Pods 50 (two better choices for the G9 alone, IMHO).

This bag arrived as part of a package with the Canon G12 and a memory card. The bag fits the camera snugly and is easy to tote around. It is a bit awkward to pack in the camera strap (not the bag strap) as you need to fold the strap and tuck it in flat while zipping it up. This bag will be too small if any other accessories such as a filter adaptor is used. A spare battery and an additional memory card will it fine.

This camera bag is a perfect fit for the Canon Powershot G12. It fits the camera, plus has a small pouch that can fit the cord, and a spare memory card. It also comes with a waterproof cover, hidden cleverly in a pocket on the outside of the bag. This is very useful for protecting the camera in wet weather.
Due to its lack of bulk the camera bag can still fit easily into a large handbag, and still has a strap if you prefer to hang it around your neck.
In short, a very practical accessory.

I bought this in a package with the Canon Powershot G12. I have always been a fan of Lowepro, but this bag is way too small for the G12 with a strap attached. It "fits", but it is a pain to get in and out and you have to wrap the strap around the camera just so. And don't even think about putting a spare battery in! Nice bag but for the wrong camera...or for the G12 without a strap!

I use this to carry around a Fuji X100, and it fits snugly into the main section. The pouch is well made, as Lowepro stuff usually is, but I have two minor complaints about it:
1. There should be two zips, not one, so that you can leave the pouch open just at the top while shooting, instead of having to unzip entirely from one side to the other. The only choices are wide open or zipped closed.
2. And more importantly, they skimped on the Velcro for the belt loop part. I like to carry the pouch attached to the strap of my messenger bag, and while the Lowepro lens cases have Velcro that would never be able to be simply pulled off, this one does. That loop is poorly designed.
Apart from this issues, it's well made, and with the cover over it holds up to a decent rain without leaking. I don't regret getting it, but I might have a tailor friend put a better loop on the back with a more secure Velcro fastening.

I got this case for my Canon G11 after reading several reviews online. I wanted a small case that zipped completely closed to keep the camera clean, and that had a releasing belt loop. This case met both requirements, and actually has a built-in rain fly. The padding seems adequate, but the zipper design does not allow for one-handed opening and closing. If you're walking around, you can leave it unzipped, as the case has interior flaps connecting to the cover so even though the zipper opens down about 80%, there's a secure pocket for compact cameras.

My G-11 fits in the bag and the pockets are fine for cards but there is very little room for a spare battery or a strap wider than the original with the camera. I had to put the spare battery in with the camera area on the top side, it fits fine but not the ideal place. It is recommended for the G series and needs to be bigger to handle any extra items, since the G series is the choice of many Pro's.

First of all I own two Lowepro bags, the Flipside 400 AW and the Inverse 100 AW(both are great camera bags).
I love this pouch. My favorite features are the micro fiber interiors(protects the camera from scratches), All-Weather Cover(very effective protection from the rain), Well Padded Construction(the rubberized base is a nice touch). It can even hold an extra battery and 2 more SD Cards. The downside is that the G12 couldn't fit in this pouch if you attach the provided neck strap to this camera. So I bought the Canon WS-20 Wrist Strap(nice, durable strap BTW) for this camera and it fits perfectly. All in all the perfect pouch for the G12.
