The Smith Victor A80 8" Ultra Cool Light (120V) 8" flood light is a perfect combination of bright, smooth light, cool operation and an easy-to-use design. Perfect for any photography studio, it features a durable porcelain socket, and uses medium screw based photoflood lamps. It accepts a maximum lamp wattage of 250. Lamp is purchased separately.

I use the light for shoulder rim light. The quality and functionality is great -- sturdy, easy to adjust angles, etc. A little pricey but it doesn't pay to skimp on lighting, esp. if you haul it around.
