The Porta Brace BP-1 Waist Belt Production Pack (Black) has a main compartment that holds batteries, spare cassettes, lens tissue, pens and lavalier microphones. It has a retractable divider for making one long pocket or two small ones. There are two front pockets; the large pouch holds slim battery, tapes and markers, small pouch holds a beta tape or other accessories. There is an adjustable waist belt with quick-release buckle, and "D" rings for additional accessories.

I use this for daily ENG shoots. My shoulder bag recently fell apart so I started shopping around for something similar, but with no luck. I held off buying a "phanny pack" thinking I wasn't cool enough to pull it off in the field. My back is telling me to get over it, so I pulled the trigger on the BP-1. It's light and has a good selection of pockets. The quality is what you would expect given how proud Porta Brace is of their gear. My only gripe, and it's a big one for me, is the waist belt is attached to the pack with velcro straps. This makes for a noisy and awkward fit, especially if you have a battery along for the ride. I get needing the option to ditch the waist belt, but velcro wasn't the answer. Shooters that frequent press conferences may not enjoy the added awkwardness of this "phanny" when you arrive a few minutes late.

Very happy with this product, has loads of compartments, an internal surprise light strip to find things in the dark and overall build quaility is tough.
Now I can carry alll the extras and be raedy on thgose fast paced/ENG shoots!

The compartments are fantastic! Perfict fit for all the bits and pieces. The belt however digs in a bit and because its so narrow the bag bounces around a bit when you walk.
But for the convenience of having your 'stuff' at your disposal on news it is a great addition to the kit!
