Comments about Porta Brace BP-3 Waist Belt Pack (Black):
As usual, PortaBrace has done it right.
Also included (but not listed in the description) is a blue strip light that takes AA batteries. It only comes on one of the pouches, but nevertheless it's very cool. Not only does it stay solid, but it also has a flash option.
The light can be folded outside the pouch, acting as a warning light, should you be in a rough spot.
It appears it's designed for Gold Mount bricks, but can be adjusted for V Mount.
I've bought a lot of PortaBrace products, this is one of my favorites!

Comments about Porta Brace BP-3 Waist Belt Pack (Black):
On certain projects I'm off in the middle of nowhere shooting both video and stills. I use the bag to hold my DSLR, wireless mics, batteries, cards, lenses, and all sorts of other stuff.
The bag is not padded, so there's no special protection for your gear -- you'll just have to be careful. Fully loaded, it can get heavy, of course. I found the belt adjustments a bit awkward because you might have to slip the strap with the velcro backing though the rings -- there's not as much easy adjustment as I'd like.
I actually wish I didn't have to have something like this, but sometimes I just need to have a bunch of stuff with me, and this pack gives me lots of room in a pretty handy configuration.

Comments about Porta Brace BP-3 Waist Belt Pack (Black):
It's a Porta Brace so it's well made, but with the name you do pay for it. I make my living filming on the road and this product makes my life easier. The build is strong and durable. The Belt keeps everything tight without constricting. The only flaw is the zippers jingle, but this was fixed with a couple Velcro cable straps. Bottom line if you need to keep your gear close by, and be able to wear it all day long this product will do the trick and you'll never need another. Truly well made.
