The Panasonic DMR-EZ27K DVD Recorder combines functionality and versatility, with abilities to record your favorite home movies onto DVD-R/W, DVD+R/W and DVD-RAM discs with an extended (4 hr) LP high-resolution recording mode. - The DMR-EZ27K features ACCUTUNE Digital Tuner capable of receiving both digital and analog broadcasts. This high-performance hybrid tuner uses a signal processor to effectively control noise and distortion, especially when digital broadcast signals drop out or break-up with block-noise. The ACCUTUNE Digital Tuner produces a crisp picture even under difficult reception conditions, such as when there are obstacles interfering with direct signal access.

It has a high-bandwidth processor capable of upconverting to 720p/1080i through the HDMI output. - This DVD recorder offers twice the horizontal resolution (500 lines vs. the 250-line standard) of many other DVD recorders when recording in LP mode.
