You don't have to scrimp and save to get started with hot lights--1000 watts of lighting power are yours with this Smith-Victor KT1000U 2-Light 1000 Watt Intermediate Thrifty Umbrella Kit . Look what you get: two 500-watt 3200K lamps w/8' cable; two 8' light stands; two aluminum reflectors; two 32" shoot-through white umbrellas w/mounts; and an "Imagining with Light" Guide.
The lights feature 660-watt phenolic sockets, 10' 2-wire cords and 5/8" stand mounts. The reflectors are hand-spun and chemically etched to maximize light output and the exteriors have a photographic black, baked-on enamel finish.
